SASITANAT
The patterns featured on the scarves are inspired by many different sources. Traditional Thai motifs, for example, come from the designer’s personal passion for Thai classical literature, resulting in designs such as Suwannamaccha paired with Hanuman, reinterpreted to tell the stories of these iconic characters in a distinctive, personal style.
Floral patterns, such as orchids, are inspired by the designer’s family background and long-standing connection with orchid cultivation. Even small and large animals from cherished memories are transformed into illustrated motifs. In addition, some designs reflect the unique identity of specific regions, such as the Bulan kite pattern, capturing local heritage and translating it into contemporary textile art.
