Roijairak is a development project in Mae Ai, Chiangmai aimed to reduce income inequality for hill tribe people by generating more income. Looking for strengths in the area, we found a precious gem in their culture, their fabric, and their handicraft skills. Realizing their potential, we aim to integrate modern designs into their crafts to make them more accessible to larger group of people without compromising the identity of their culture. Our long-term mission is to normalize hill tribe clothing, demystifying those terrible connotations that come with the word hill tribe, showing everyone how competence we are.
